Functional Overview
The pre-configured Goods Issue to Production Order Reservation transaction in the NLINK ADC to SAP Solution allows the user to scan one or more materials for posting to SAP as a single goods movement. The user provides a Production Order number, usually by scanning a barcode from printed documentation. The NLINK ADC to SAP Solution looks up the Production Order in the SAP system and retrieves all open line items from the underlying Reservation. For each selected material, the NLINK ADC to SAP Solution shows information from SAP, including the current inventory quantity in available issue locations. This transaction includes basic batch and serial number handling, as well as vendor consignment special stock. Finally, the NLINK ADC to SAP Solution posts the goods movement with reference to the Reservation to the SAP system and notifies the user of the success of the posting.
